Bog Turtle Surveys

Herpetological Associates (HA) has several full-time staff bog turtle experts, some of whom have been qualified by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and state endangered species agencies. We are fully qualified to offer assistance when habitat evaluations or presence/absence surveys are required for permit application approvals.

HA can provide clients with habitat evaluations (Phase I), presence/absence surveys (Phase II), and intensive bog turtle trapping programs (Phase III). We have conducted various scientific research on bog turtles in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, with several papers published in the scientific literature.
